The previous episode was still focused on Damon and Stefan and the former’s curiosity of whom really Mason Lockwood was. Damon was so really obnoxious about the guy’s presence in the Mystic Falls and he really wanted to know the identity of the person.
This coming episode was a mix of drama with a bite of extravagance and glamour. The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Episode 7 – Masquerade is an allotted episode as a Halloween special (I do not know that vamps celebrate Halloween too). Setting may likely to be the same as of what you have imagine, something like that of the masks in the Venetian hotel or kind of Phantom of the Opera thing.
Out of desperation t handle Katherine, Damon and Stefan made a way on how to deal with the lady. The plan was to happen on the Lockwood’s masquerade ball where a lot of people are expected to attend. Lucy, Kath’s close friend is also attending the event due to Katherine invitation. Others are expected to be there also; Bonnie, Alaric, and Jeremy are example. However, those guys were there mainly to aid the brothers Damon and Stefan with their plan to Katherine. Kath, in this event also, has received a surprise that no one ever expected.
