A slasher film is sub-classification of horror films which commonly features a psycho killer using a cutting tool such as a scythe or chainsaw in killing his victim.
This coming April 30, 2010, A Nightmare on the Elm Street is set to premiere in major theaters in United States. The movie is directed by Samuel Bayer.
