Clottey is best remembered by fight fans as the puncher who gave Miguel Cotto a taste of hell when they fought in June 2009 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Pacquiao is holding 50-3-2 record with 38 Kos and is widely considered the best fighter, pound-for-pound, in the world. While his opponent, Clottey is holding a record of 35-3 with 20 Kos.  Both boxers had promised to their fans that will deliver the best boxing match that they have ever seen.
